One of my favorite cornball, brainless reads of all time. Hilarious premise. Was totally drawn in by the statement on the back that "a man disappears into the Amazon with one arm and emerges several years later with two". Entertaining and requires little thought if that's what you're in the mood for.

Definitely an earlier work of Rollins, and some themes and stereotypes are just…not it.

I hate geography and science. This book is full of maps and medical terms I couldn’t pronounce. I still loved it, Rollins made it an easy to understand read and a hell of a good time. The epitome of a page turner.

Kind of a melancholy read with a good but somewhat predictable ending.
