First off, I would like to thank the authors Melissa and Dana for allowing me to arc read for them. What an honor that is for me. Thank you so much for the opportunity.

I absolutely enjoyed every minute of this book. It was fast paced from the start. The spice was top notch.

Well you had me at "my body, my choice", but that was only the start.

Slaying for Sloan is a spicy, twisted, stalker novella. Sloan is a take no $#*!, beautiful young woman who thinks she's going to meet her boyfriend's parents and spend time getting to know them over a short Christmas vacation. After meeting his parents for dinner, then having a fight in the streets of this Christmassy town, Sloan makes her way back to their cabin to wait for him.

Waking up alone, Sloan sees a black box on the kitchen table. She opens it to find a wad of cash and a note with instructions to take the day to shop and instructions for a sexy game of cat and mouse that night.

If he catches her once he gets to eat her.
If he catches her twice she gets to suck.
If he catches her three times he gets to take her.
And the fourth time nothing is off limits.

If you love stalker/serial killer vibes with a bit of smexy lust, this one's for you.

The only thing I will say is that this one ends in a cliffhanger. And although the author tells you that up front and gives you the name of the second book, she doesn't tell you that it won't be released until December 2025. Had I known that, I probably wouldn't have read this book. I don't start a duet, trilogy or series when I have to wait a year or longer for the ending.

That being said, I did enjoy the book and would recommend it. But if you are like me, you might want to wait until the second book comes out.

I think it's a 4 star read, but I am giving it 3.75 for not giving me the information of the long wait for the ending.

This book was everything! I was hooked from the beginning! I loved learning more about Sloan, I definitely felt like she was relatable and I really loved her.

I loved Asher instantly, he was just perfection. Now I didn’t know that this would end on a cliffhanger, but my god it’s made me more excited to see what happens next

I could NOT stop reading this one. Everything about this was so good. The chase, the stalking, the use of holiday decor..perfect! Asher is absolutely unhinged in the best way, and I couldn’t get enough of him. This was the perfect short holiday read—spicy, wild, and just so much fun. Sloan is seriously becoming a fave, and I need more of her!

The perfect christmas game of cat and mouse. This book is a dark romance novella. Filled with hot chocolate. Peppermint, spice, and some unhinged obsession. It’s the prefect recipes for a hot and spicy Christmas horror novella full of twists and the primal urge to be capture and railed in a church.

Asher is deliciously dark and psycho who’s 6’3”, tattooed, morally grey, and a masked. Merry Christmas to the readers of slaying for Sloan

Okay but this book is my fave in the series so far!

In this book, we follow Sloan (Cara’s best friend) and her boyfriend Alex as they travel to his parents house for Christmas, where Sloan is forced to “behave” for his overly strict parents who are heavily involved in their church.

After an altercation between the two of them, Sloan receives a black box with a note containing instructions for a spicy night for Christmas Eve from Alex to apologize. Only thing is, it’s not from Alex. It’s from Sloan’s stalker, and Alex’s unhinged missing twin brother Aster. Who is 6’3’’ and covered in tattoos btw!!!!

Aster gave me Zade Meadows vibes and I was eating it UP!! I cannot wait for the next book! I need answers!!

This was a quick, spicy, very dark, trigger warning filled novella. This can be read as a standalone which is what I did, but it ends on a cliffhanger. I NEED to know what happens next after that ending. This was just over 100 pages so such a quick read. Definitely check the trigger warnings though!
