It was interesting and inspiring. I am very glad I read this book. It was just what I needed to hear as we approach this upcoming election.
In the most simple terms this book has changed my life. The power and emotion captured in the pages awoke a fire inside me I didn’t know existed.
I am ready to make a lot of trouble. Cecile Richards did an amazing job of telling her life storing in a captivating way. Many times while reading I was on the verge of tears cause I was so proud of the work her and so many others did to protect woman’s rights and human rights.
10 out of 10 must read!

Excellent memoir. Upon finishing, I immediately sent in another donation to Planned Parenthood. I believe in the care they provide to women everywhere. Thank you, Cecile.
I needed this grounding and hope before the election next week

If you think of yourself as a leader, a trouble maker or both, read this book. Very well-written autobiography focusing on Richards' experience as the daughter of former Texas governor, the reliably quotable Ann Richards and her own life as a labor and reproductive rights organizer. Fun, funny and enlightening. **You don't need to agree with Richards' politics to enjoy this book.** Highly recommend.
