This volume loses out a bit in focusing on some of the lesser known Avengers. When you're being super Meta and mixing two stories together, there needs to be instant recognition. Okay, Kate Bishop is great, and she kinda worked as the "red Queen" in Alice in Wonderland, and She-Hulk as Dorothy in Oz is fun. But younger and less obsessive readers won't know all the characters yet.
Still, I'm always down for a meta-narrative

All of these stories are very sweet, and based upon fairy tales that were easily recognisable to me. My favorite out of the issues would have to be the third one, but each one was charming and enjoyable to read.
