Where the last book focuses on Cooper's backstory, we finally delve deeper into Oliver's mysterious background in this third book.
While I think most readers will be/has been frustrated with Oliver for leaving Cooper so in the dark about the wolf world, I think Oliver's reluctance to let Cooper know all the gory details is believable if also foolish.
Cooper's cat Boot Scootin' Boogie is a definite and unexpected highlight for me. Love love love.

I did not like how Park kept giving Cooper half-truths. Cooper still has so much to learn about this world and Park is doing a piss poor job of teaching him.

I have such mixed feelings on this series. I love the universe and overall plot, but the constant communication issues within the main couple are quite frustrating especially being so central to this relationship. However in this part they finally have some very satisfying conversations closer to the end of the book.

Oh man! These two are great! And they try so hard, it's great to witness. The villain in this book surprised me but I knew it wasn't Silvia.... and I kind of didn't understand how it all worked out but that was ok I got the gist of it. However, in the end I was just thrilled that Oliver and Cooper got to the next level of their relationship and the comment about Cooper being Ollie's alpha made me so excited! Yes, so good!

Three books in and Oliver is finally interesting. Up until this point Cooper was the only one of the two that had any real characterisation outside of being "perfect". Turns out that was sort of the point! I didn't really much care for the mystery in this one, but the romance was as good as ever. And finally loving both main characters was a plus as well.
