Loved this series! I hope there are more coming with these characters. Love the mystery!

Entertaining! Though the details are pretty outrageous, this reads like some good old boys sharing their story. (And fiction can be strange because truth is often stranger, right?) Looking forward to book #3.

Loved the first this was a sub par follow up. A quick refreshing read between larger books or series. You should read the first before this one. It helped with certain plot points.

It was alright, but I think I prefer Camino Island to this one. As all Grisham books it is exceedingly well written with fun character and quick plotting. Yet, half the writer characters introduced at the beginning disappear and I miss them the rest of the way and the solution to the problem seemed unbelievable to me (or rather not as well contrived as it could have been). Overall, 3.5 stars. Not awful, but not amazing.

So, I liked the ACTUAL story but I think it was a stretch to tie it into the last but and it took 2/3 of the book to get to the compelling stuff. The actual crime was a great story though

Undeveloped characters with a plot resolution out of left field in the ninth inning without foreshadowing, totally mailed it in. Love Grisham but not this.
