I usually don't read graphic novels, but wanted to try something different. The graphic style of the characters is cute, but this was just not my kind of humor.

I just LOVE Cassandra Calin's art and comics, I follow her on Tapastic and read her comics immediately when they come out. I also got one of her books at home and I am looking forward to adding this book to my collection when it comes out. I know that my husband would also love it as he is also a fan.

Calin's collection of semi-autobiographical comics is humorous and relatable. The main character is a 20-something women with curly hair that she can never quite get under control. There are a lot of expectation vs. reality scenarios pictured in this book that are all too real...thinking contouring will make you look like a fabulous fashion model when in fact it makes you look like someone who sucks at contouring.
This is a quick read that is easy to pick up as you have spare moments since it is comprised of 1 page comics. The main character is quirky, doesn't always want to leave the house, and somewhat insecure. She is someone that a lot of people could relate to.
I recommend this book for people who are looking for a fun, light read.

So funny and highly relatable. I must say I laughed out loud a lot while reading this. And I needed it.
