Megan's life is almost back to normal, as normal as a freaky-strong Settler's life can be. She's spending time with Ethan, a little freaked about how strong her feelings are. Then Cliff an undead...person, appears and all hell breaks loose. Literally. Megan is being hunted by super-strong zombies who are extremely hard to kill and they all seem to be focused on her. The Council seems to think Megan's the one raising the extra-strong zombies and Cliff is not helping.

No matter what happens, Megan is unprepared for the big fallout waiting for her. Or the culprit and the threat to her life and the whole Settler community.

I didn't enjoy this as much as the first one, but with the ending hopefully a new direction will emerge. Megan is trying to be a normal teenager, have the first love of her life and make the pom pom squad. Only problem is she can but the undead/zombies back in the grave until one day she can't. She felt safe with her enemies either locked in jail or a mental hospital. Before she knows it, she is clearing her name accused of either having mutated blood causing the strange attacks or using the forbidden black magic. The reason I didn't enjoy this book as much, as it rehashed the grudges and hatred from the first book. I did enjoy Aaron part in it , as I didn't see that coming and can't wait to see where the Jill/Aaron body turns up next, I really don't see it staying dad. As for Megan and Ethan, she is young, her life is quite complicated and will be intersting to see a female progtanigst defend the world instead of a love triangle like many YA books seem to do nowadays.

The ending completely surprised. I totally had no idea who the "bad guy" was. Megan and Ethan are so cute together :-) hopefully they stay that way.

Undead Much was just as funny, sassy, and unpredictable as it's predecessor!

I love Jay's take on Zombies it's much different than the normal mindless brain eating beings that you usually associate with the word Zombie.... although there are that type of Zombie in this book too! But Megan's job is to help the "undead" with unfinished business so that they can spend their slumber of death in peace.... well most of the time, unless someone decides to turn them into those brain eating Zombies... but you can read more about that in the book!

I wasn't sure what to expect with this novel, You Are so Undead to Me, wrapped up pretty nicely, so I had no idea what the sequel had in store. That being said, this is definitely a series that you will want to read in order to fully appreciate the sequel.

Undead Much felt much more like it was part of a series than You Are so Undead to Me Did. There are many more unanswered questions! And I can't really say without being spoilery, but wow! I was sitting on the edge of my seat, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough... awesome mystery and suspense play! The ending for this one left me salivating for me... must be that zombie tendency after reading all that zombie-ness!

All of my favorite characters were present and then my most favorite of all was introduced.. Cliff! Can't wait to see more of his undead cuteness in the rest of the series!

This is a great zombie novel for the apprehensive zombie reader.. not high on the gore-o-meter, great story, suspense, mystery and romance.... sounds fantastic to me!

SPOILER ALERT: If you haven't read You Are So Undead To Me this review will contain spoilers. So stop reading! =]

Undead Much? was just as much fun and cute as You Are So Undead To Me. I started it right after I finished the first book so it was super easy for me to get right back into the story but even if it's been a while since you read You Are So Undead To Me, it won't take you long to get back into Megan's crazy world.

Undead Much? starts a couple months after the ending of You Are So Undead To Me. Megan and Ethan are together and their relationship is heating up. They are both in Enforcer training so they don't have a lot of time together. Their time gets even shorter when Reanimated Corpses start showing up around town, attacking Megan. Instead of helping her, Settler's Affairs is looking at her as the main suspect. Things couldn't seem to get any worse until an Unsettled shows up and keeps showing up. Not only will the guy not go back to his grave, Megan is starting to have feelings for him, feelings that she should not be having towards a dead guy.

Megan hasn't changed much since the first book. She is still kind of unhappy with her super settler powers but she is learning how to use them. She is a bit more mature but it seemed like she cried a lot in this book, over every little thing. She was still a strong heroine who knew how to take care of herself but she was close to the breaking point in this book.

The plot again kept me guessing. The mystery of who was raising the zombies was just as good as the one in the first book. I liked that I didn't know what was going to happen in the end or which side people would end up on.

Overall, Undead Much? goes on my list of books to recommend. The end left some questions but that just gives me hope that there will be another book and if so, I can't wait. Megan's story is one of the most entertaining stories that I have read and I am hoping for more!

I've got to admit, I love these books! The lead characters are all awesome, and okay once you suspend belief of zombies, settlers, etc, the characters are all believable. I know I've been saying it a lot here lately, but I really hope there are more Megan Berry books to come!

Another funny, awesome book! We learn about why Megan is more powerful, which is really great, and romance problems, which was not! But there's the valentine's story, which I need to read!

I'm not sure that there are any zombie books out there that are quite like Stacey Jay's. I never really thought that zombies could be both fun and horrifying at the same time, but Jay somehow pulls it off! I also never thought I'd join the zombie craze, but I did - and it is definitely because of YOU ARE SO UNDEAD TO ME and UNDEAD MUCH?!

UNDEAD MUCH is the sequel to the above mentioned novel, and you really do need to read the first installment to fully appreciated the second book, in my opinion. I think that, for the most part, readers will still be able to figure out what is going on, but they won't really connect with the characters as well or fully understand their motivations, thoughts, etc. I wouldn't have been nearly as torn about the "undead psychic hottie" and Megan if I hadn't read the first book, which developed Megan and Ethan's relationship.

As with YOU ARE SO UNDEAD TO ME, this novel is full of zombies, action, and a hint of mystery. Jay balances Megan's normal everyday teenage life with that of supernatural zombie settler like it's a piece of cake, which makes her novels more appealing to those reluctant zombie novel readers, like me.

The romance in these books is really well written. I like that Jay leaves some tension between the characters. In the first novel it was almost unbearable - I wanted Ethan and Megan to be together so badly; they were just so fun to read. I was afraid, however, that the second novel wouldn't be quite as fun, but I was wrong. Jay mixed it up and she doesn't rush the characters into anything, which I really appreciate. Plus, it is kind of hard to have a relationship when you are fighting off undead that are out to kill you. Or so I imagine.

Ratings (out of 10):
Plot: 9
Characters: 10
Writing: 10
Romance: 10 (!)
Originality: 10
Total: 49/50 (A)

UNDEAD MUCH? was an amazing second novel to Megan's story and left me wanting MORE! Jay wrapped up the story, but left so many loose ends and I need to know what happens next. She succeeded in wrapping up the story while simultaneously leaving the reader with questions about just about every aspect of Megan's life. I highly recommend both of Jay's novels, but be warned: once you start, you won't want to stop. Then you can come sit with me and wait the unbearably long months to read what happens next! :)
