Funny, and light hearted! A feel good book that I will be reading-reading around Christmas 🎄
Giving fun Hocus Pocus vibes (but in winter)

I will gladly read anything by this author, whether it be Erin Sterling's cozy witchy romances or Rachel Hawkins's mystery/thrillers. The Wedding Witch is the third book in the Graves Glen series, following the third Penhallow brother. Because Bowen is somewhat a rogue brother, this book feels different from the rest of the series. It is the only book primarily set outside Graves Glen, as Bowen is usually depicted in the series off researching rare magical artifacts and obscure spellcraft. The rest of the series has a squarely fall/Halloween vibe, where as this book is equal parts Christmas holiday romance and somewhat witchy Halloween stuff. The pacing of this book is also a little uneven; there's a lot of setup since the two leads have spent the rest of the series largely in the margins. The story is largely self-contained, but the subtle tie ins to the wider world of the series and its canon are really fun. It's also a time travel story, a premise that is particularly difficult to land. The rushed resolution and conclusion of this story are more apparent due to the challenges of the time travel plot. Even so, I was delighted by Bowen and Tamsyn's story. The characters (both the two leads and the extensive supporting cast) and their chemistry are a real treat.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
