The Good:
I enjoyed the author’s use of a bunch of words that I haven’t encountered before. Pretty decent imagery infused throughout the book (although that may be colored by my previous viewing of the television show).
The Not So Good:
Unfortunately, this book is underwhelming in so many ways. The characters lack the depth and complexity that I was anticipating. The tempo was slower than I expected as well and didn’t ever pick up. I came into this hoping to read all of the books in the series but after struggling to want to finish this very short book, I have decided it’s not worth it to stick through it.
Just watch the TV show! It’s great.

it’s captivating, i’ll probably finish out the series to know what happens since i never finished the netflix adaptation.
An exciting book, full of action but also intense graphic sexual scenes! Great from beginning to end, although slightly different to the tv series but that is normal. Only slight criticism is occasionally it becoming blurred between who’s perspective the story was coming from
