Upgraded from 2.25 to 2.75 a few months later, after enjoying the cameos of Ethan and Garrett in book seven, Devil in Disguise. 

Meh. I lost interest in this one after the first act. I wasn’t as invested in their romance after the clerkenwell night market. And I got bored. The intrigue and conspiracy fizzled out quickly. It lacked the humour of books 2-3. And the brief moments of romantic declarations were many enough to rally me.

A quick, entertaining read. The romance was sweet and the plot was decent. I loved the main characters.

I enjoyed this re-read. It was cute and I had a good time. I like the characters and their relationships. There's something about Kleypas' writing style that I liked.

This is a fun ride. I love Garrett and Ethan's characters! Garrett is the only female doctor in London. After Ethan disrupts an attack on Garrett he makes it his mission to make Sure she can defend herself.

I would’ve given five stars just for Garrett, she was just incredible.
