REVIEW
Below Zero was personally my favourite of the 3 STEMinist novellas, but beware that it still pretty much falls under the same lane. They all are advertised as “enemies to lovers” although I would say they just follow the recipe of “we like each other, we misinterpret something, there’s a lack of communication and then something forces us to be honest and we are happy ever after”. So don’t go in expecting something new and super original: you won’t get it. Is it still cute and entertaining? Yes! It also falls on a lot of clichés that I’m not a particular fan of (like why do the LI always have to be super successful for their age?!) but it redeems itself by talking about women in STEM, which I love reading about as I am myself a woman in STEM. To summarize, and I know this might sound a little bit bad but that’s not the way I mean it: I would describe this book as the perfect palate cleanser: it’s fun and cute and simple, and so it’s perfect to fit in the middle of some heavier reads so you can put your mind off things and just believe in the existence of the perfect love interest.

This rating is simply for how adorable the scene in the bunks was!

Women in STEM rep 🙌🏻, enemies-to-lovers, workplace romance, forced proximity! Hilarious and steamy. Everything you could ever want, and an easy read.
