Okay guys, so I just finished this book and OH MY GOD 😭 it took me a little while to get into it at first because jumping from Johnny and Shannon to Joey and Aoife was like… what??? Totally different dynamic, totally different vibe, I was like wait, what is happening? But then—oh my god—I started LOVING Joey and Aoife. They’re amazing. Aoife is chaotic and hilarious and just so me, and Joey… my poor baby boy 😭 everything he’s going through with his family, with his mom doing nothing, raising Sean, dealing with night feeds and potty training and literally everything… I just feel SO bad for him. I mean my heart hurts. And their dynamic together? Chef’s kiss. I love it. I love them. And the ending??? I get why Joey did what he did, I get why Aoife feels how she feels… it’s just wow. My heart is exploding. I cannot even.

Seriously, this book is so good. I cannot wait for the next one. I might not read it immediately because life is chaos, but I am counting down the seconds. The writing? Amazing. The characters? ICONIC. The feels? I am SOBBING. I give it 4 stars, but honestly my heart is giving it 100. Like, I love this book so much, and I am not ready to let it go.

No notes. Friends to lovers >>>

I like that I got more insight into the Lynch kids especially Tadgh.

Joey deserves all the love and hugs. And Aoife is such a freaking queen 👑.

Joey & Aoife's relationship is tense & heartbreaking, but it is written so well. I loved the banter between the two before they became an item. It was *chef's kiss*. Aoife's dedication & love for Joey truly knows no bounds. Joey's struggles are explained more and it truly s heartbreaking. The ending is a bit of a cliffhanger but I'm okay with that, cause a breather is absolutely needed.

I may have loved Joey and Aoife story more than Shannon's. So emotional.
