Now I understand Joe's beef with Darren when he came back in Keeping 13.. Darren just left without a word leaving Joey at the age of 12 to pretty much be the man of the house... And then Marie punk ass gone tell him he just like Teddy, that part pissed me off so bad.. He protected her time after time, made sure her kids were good just for her to treat him like shit... He had to take on so much when Darren left which made him turn to drugs at the age of 12.. i really felt bad for him because so many people including his mother counted him out .. Nobody reported the abuse that was clearly happening to him and Shann, not a teacher or their principal, lucky Shannon moved schools and met Johnny... Aoife was a bit pushy at time but I get that she was just trying to look out for Joey.. But she didn't have a right to be mad at him for having sex with Danielle when she was with Paul and kept taking him back every single time he was an ass.. hopefully in the next one Joey can open up to Aofie and tell her everything...I feel like that's the only way he can get her to understand everything fully.. Johnny and Shannon are my favorites but Joey and Aoife are a close second.. Her willing to lose her virginity in the Lynch house so Joey could have at least one good memory in that house and him letting her go so he can get his self together.. they love each other even though Joey won't say it
