Rolled right into Saving 6 after Keeping 13! I love Aoife + Joey so much! The books are getting progressively deeper, and my heart was breaking for Joey and the weight he carries on his shoulders. He's got some serious demons, and we get to see the Lynch family intricacies and traumas from his perspective now, which is so different from Shannon's POV. Aoife is a firecracker, and I loved that for them. I feel like we somehow got less from her as a partner and FMC than we did from Johnny as the MMC and partner in the first 2 books, but what we got was great and she is Joey's match for sure. There's banter, forbidden romance, friends to lovers, and they were done SO well.
I did a combo of e-book and audio and once again Jacqueline Milne and Matthew Forsythe won me over with their performance.
This series is so deeply emotional and I can't get off this train! Immediately into Redeeming 6 next!
