It was an ok book. Shakespeare is great but this isn't my favorite one that I've read. The title is a weird choice since it doesn't really contain Julius that much but still interesting to see that side of the story. You could not read this play and I think you would be ok comparatively to his other ones Like Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth.
Et tu, Brute? Then fall Caesar.
"Et tu, Brute?" remains the most iconic line in history.
This is one of the most compelling and narratively strong plays I've ever read.
Shakespeare's version of the downfall of Julius Caesar presents itself in a style that sets it apart from other plays. This tragedy, which brings to life scenes from Roman history, serves as a study in loyalty, honor, and friendship rather than a biography of the leader.
There is no villain!! All the outturns are a result of a character decision.

It’s not that it’s a bad play, it’s more that I hate Brutus and there is too much Brutus and his ending doesn’t even feel satisfying
Read this for school.
I was barely able to finish it.
Shakespeare is clearly not for me.

Whilst observing other people's rankings of Shakespeare plays, I seldom see Julius Caesar being anywhere near the top, but after reading it and watching the Globe Theatre 2014 performance, I feel as though this tragedy is underrated. It displays Shakespeare's masterful techniques whilst being an interesting story to follow that I think will be digestible even to a reader unfamiliar with Shakespeare's language. Cassius is certainly my favourite from the play, his dialogue and character is consistently striking throughout. I found the play to be simple yet so great which makes it all the more impressive.
Hamlet será por siempre mi favorita, pero esta también es buena
