I was pleasantly surprised by this volume! I liked them as a couple and seeing them getting used to a relationship. Wateru is a bit naïve, while Chiharu is struggling to keep it together because he obvious wants to do more with his partner. I appreciate the healthy communication (Wataru realising he wants to see the movie with his boyfriend instead of letting the special ticket sway him) and how they talk things out when Wataru is getting jealous and realising that he couldn't just let Chiharu take the lead the whole time. I appreciate that we see Wataru's high school friends and see them being part of his life, despite going to different schools. It isn't ground-breaking, but it really benefited from being a sequel, because we already know these characters and what their dynamics are. Also, all the art at the end??? I am seriously considering just getting a knife and removing them to display, but that would be foolish. Especially because I think that there is art available in other languages (from what I have seen on vinted).

Cute, quick read for a fairly long volume. The relationship is progressing very slowly. I'm glad the story touches on their other friends, jobs, school, and potential future careers. The volume only shows the times they're together but makes in clear their lives are happening in between scenes.
