Dissapointed, the last 5% of the book was good, but most if the time it was smut and long not interesting exposition. Main characters are boring and cringy. Maybe one day I will come back to this series, but House of Sky and Breath was dissapointing.
The SCREAM I SCRUMPT!!!! The GASP I GUSPED!!!! Crying, shaking, throwing up at the ending.
About halfway through I gave up trying to guess what everything was leading up to because I knew there was no way I could guess, and boy was I right about that. I'm just glad I figured out who Day was early on. The plot depth in this book and the universe Maas is expanding on is unbelievable. Sometimes almost hard to follow, but you just have to trust that it will all come together in the end. This series is just packed with action start to finish and the characters and their journeys are beautiful. I'm so glad the third book is available, starting INSTANTLY

3.7? i will def read the third book. this one was good, but could have been shorter. it took me a while to get through. and while i love that rhysand from a court of roses and thorns showed up at the end, overall the ending was not satisfactory and only served to set up a third book.
