This book starts a year prior to [b:Becoming A Vincent|35487055|Becoming A Vincent (The Wild Ones, #1)|C.M. Owens|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1498002051s/35487055.jpg|56885839] when Liam and Kylie meet and have a thing in LA. Most of the drama happens then. Then jumps a year later and picks up a few a months after Liam has moved to Tomahawk and is established among the Vincents.
I think the thing with these books is to read them quickly. There is very little angst, mostly just good fun, so there isn't a large plot drive. So don't lose momentum.
The humor was there again but maybe a little over the top this time? I mean, they have a helicopter now and they dangle from it to arrive at parties? Also, the families forcing Lilah and Benson to get married was not really funny. Forcing people into marriage is actually a serious issue and I realize that they were supposed to not really be opposed to it, but Lilah actually did fight them until the end. It was all a little messed up instead of funny so that detracted points a bit for me.

Really like the beginning. The rest is also equally fun.
This book is Liam and Kylie.
We met Liam in book 1 and knew he moved to Tomahawk to be near a girl he'd met in the city. I really liked Liam in book 1 esp as it seemed romantic for him to be willing to uproot himself for a girl that is until I met him at the start of book 2.
He is not like-able at all. He did grow on me when we move on to their lives in Tomahawk but it left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't like cheating at all. He is faithful to Kylie but it's his actions when they first meet in the city that are not good.
Lots from other people, family and friends and the original couple from book 1 and more craziness.

Going wild ( The Wild Ones Book 2)
By C.M. Owen
I absolutely LOVED this story! So so many time I was chuckling or out right laughing while reading this. My husband would look over at me with a questioning look on his face. I was just like “ you have GOT to read this!!” Smiling and laughing while saying it!
It was great to see how they(Liam and Kiley)met and finally we know what brought him to Tomahawk. Seeing the whole cast of colorful characters again was such a delight!
We also met more of the Wild Ones this time which was awesome! I really loved the town challenge in this one!!! I think I used the word love too many time BUT that is the best word! Because I seriously loved this one and encourage everyone to read it!!
I am excited and look forward to more in this series! These should be a top ten best seller series!!
Oh please read the afterword where the author talks about some of the scenes in the book plus you don’t want to miss a sneak peek of the next one!

Wild Ones Tip #321
Sometimes kidnapping is acceptable behavior if you’re friends with a Wild One.
Kylie Malone does lots of things that my cause people to question her sanity. Apparently it’s not normal to howl and break things for fun. Like all the Wild Ones, she goes a little stir crazy when she’s bored, but that’s what makes Tomahawk the perfect place for her. Her crazy is normal there. It’s hard to find men in Tomahawk that are willing to take on a Malone. The only girl in the family too. It doesn’t help that she’ll never leave, not even for a guy.
One year ago Liam Harper met a girl that changed his out look on life. She laughed freely and cared for him when others didn’t. Two months ago he showed up in Tomahawk looking for his curly haired woman. In his first eight weeks he didn’t come across her, but slowly begun to understand the wildness in her. He got to witness a nine year beard challenge end and be apart of a new one beginning. He learned the whole town is nuts and he either needs to get on board or get out of there. Seems to be there’s only one option for him and he’s not living without his crazy lady.
“Liam,” I groan, “you’re the kind of guy who forgets he has a girlfriend. And I’m the kind of girl who will get your name tattooed on my right boob within a matter of weeks.”
His smile spreads. “Why the right one specifically?”
“Because it’s a little bigger than my left one, so it’s my favorite.”
God, this series keeps getting better and better. It’s a hilarious and easy read. Be prepared for your belly to ache and tears to flow, because that’s how hard you’ll be laughing. The town is charming...even though the four corners are proving that they’ll only get crazier. Especially as they try to one up one another. This story shows that Liam, an outsider, doesn’t enjoy being on the sidelines. He wants in. Why? Because it’s Tomahawk.
Wild Ones Tip #119
Families are crazier when they’re all in one place.
Wild families are just psychotic. Wear a helmet.

HEA:
Ok now that I know what the hell is going on and what to expect these books are so much more enjoyable. I should reread the first one for sure!
These books have the best shenanigans! I also never knew that I wanted a man to follow to my hometown and buy property just to be near my craziness. Liam has set new level for all future men in my life, I want someone to be thoughtful enough to buy me a closet full of boots. I also respect Kylie’s attitude about her boots, I would also cut someone if they ruined my suedes too.
