This was a fun quick read. It is only part of the story and I guess the next part will add to the story. Becca and Marcus make a cute couple.

The writing is gorgeous and the characters feel like actual people. I loved the sizzling chemistry between Becca and Marcus and hope they'll find their way to each other, despite their rather unconventional beginning.

100% exactly what you thought it would be. Characters were fine, but even though it was only 200 pages it absolutely dragged at the end.
they literally went from having a convo about how they fancied each other to pretending they didn’t a second later?? Boring
and the miscommunication trope wasn’t done very well imo. However, the main guy wasn’t as misogynistic as a lot of male love interest are so that was nice. Don’t think I’ll read the next one.

This book was a little more palatable than the last one I reviewed. Same premise but executed better. The heroine in this book was a little iffy for me. One minute I loved her the next I hated her. Either way the book was interesting enough to make me want to know what happens next and that's really the whole point. 3 stars for now. Maybe the next installment will get a higher rating out of me.

The Billionaire's Fake Girlfriend: Part One starts out by introducing us to Rebecca, an aspiring actress. The agency she goes through sends her to a swanky party to get others interested in joining and Rebecca gets a bonus for each member that signs up. There aren't many nice people at a super wealthy party though. Being the nice person she is, Rebecca steps in when some harpies are corning someone and being extremely rude. Things get a bit out of hand and Rebecca winds up telling the harpies that she's there because her boyfriend is the one throwing the party. So of course the ladies try to prove that Rebecca is lying and confronts Marcus Taylor, the billionaire party thrower. Much to Rebecca's surprise, he plays along and acts like a caring boyfriend.

The book progresses with Rebecca continuing to fake being Marcus's girlfriend at events. The lines are blurring in their sham of a relationship though. The "couple" seems to be growing feelings for one another. That's where the issue comes in, are the feelings for real, or is this all in attempts to fool others?

This was a really fast read that I enjoyed. The author states that the story ends in a cliffhanger, and yeah, that's one big cliffhanger. You'll need to buy book two to see what happens next and I already know that I'm intrigued enough to buy it. I'd recommend this if you like uber wealthy males in your romance.

Light filler

Not sure how to categorize this but I wanted something light and easy to read in between books. This was a short little novella introduction to the series. It ends on a bit of a “cliffhanger” without closing of the story line which is a little annoying. However it’s enough to get me to look for the next book so hey.
