I was half way through when the Queen died, and generally I thought it was a lovely read, and was a nice insight into the royal. Clearly somethings weren’t mentioned, or were gently skirted. It wasn’t a gossipy tell all or anything, it was very dignified. The last chapter was very rambly, but I found the first half super interesting. I don’t usually read nonfiction, and I kept putting this one down (not helped by the library requesting it back before I’d finished it), but I thought it was an interesting read.
