This wasn't amazing but was better than I expected!
I don't tend to read a lot of young adult romance so this was something different for me!
- the writing style was one I liked, particularly the prose (which isn't everyone's thing but I like it).
- The characters were fun, even if Juliette was a tad generic, they all had personality and were enjoyable to read about!
- I loved the setting and how perfect it was for the story, the themes were also interesting and well developed for a book that, on the surface, looks very generic ya
- I liked the fantasy elements though I wish they were delved into more
- I did not like the romance, it felt generic and isn't really my thing anyway
