My feelings toward this one were complex.
On one hand I was glad that Dinah had some decency to her as she really cared about Brooke and jumped out to protect Ella when she was in danger, but I also hated to learn that Steve was the true murderer and he pinned his crime on Reed. I was really hoping that Ella could have a father who could love her after losing her mother.

Dramatic end to Reed and Ella’s story. Tons of tension, sexual and otherwise. Steve and Dinah are PIECES OF WORK. I pieced together the mystery just barely before the reveal, so that was fun. Definitely going to read Gideon and Easton’s books at some point.

so everyone's a bit less terrible (which has been my main complaint for the last two books),  but honestly, these characters aren't interesting enough without the ridiculous drama so..
