3 stars. This was precious as hell but entirely too short. I wanted more and I think this would’ve benefitted from at least a hundred more pages because while I did like Nyx and Eion together, them as characters were very one dimensional and I just wanted more. I did like the writing and the world building though. A quick, entertaining read.

I would say I enjoyed this book because it was fairly light hearted, wasn’t too deep, had a lot of fluff… so overall it was more of a quick comfort read. I did read Waiting On the One by the same author and I REALLY loved that one, this one felt more of a quick write. I would say my only quarrel with this book is how fast the romance and trust was, and also the seemingly repetition of words and sentences. It felt like I was reading the same thing in multiple places of the book. I suggest this as a quick comfort read, and I would highly suggest Waiting On the One for a deeper story if you like Jett Masterson!
A saccharine hurt/comfort MM omegaverse short. The conflict is resolved early on, and the majority is dedicated to the comfort aspect of the trope. Strong fanfic vibes.

This novella was terribly, earnestly sweet. Zero angst. And conflict was resolved less than halfway thru when Eoin and Nyx met and (quite literally) instantly fell in love. And that was not what I was looking for.
