One of the protagonists is written as plus size and I can tell the writer does not know much about that lived experience. It also isn't a focal point for the character's development, which would be fine if they didn't randomly remind you periodically that she is not skinny. Just felt a bit forced.
Still, I like the couple. The plot premise is a bit silly but that's not an issue to me. Not a super believable story but it's still sweet.

This was a fun and light hearted enemies to lovers story. The characters were both relatable and their relationship was very cute to watch unfold. The story centers around Scottish dance teachers/performers so the world was quite colorful and fun to read about.
