I stuck with this series because I wanted to see the conclusion of the “Cesar” plot line. Since it was never fully dealt with before, I expected it to come back—and it did, though in a way that was honestly disappointing (but somewhat funny). I had hoped for an ultimate showdown within the government and the powerful families, maybe even a full-on magical civil war. Instead, the resolution felt smaller than the buildup promised.

That said, Ruby Fever reads much like the earlier books: a bit formulaic, but still fast-paced and entertaining. Personally, I would have preferred less over-explaining of the mysteries and more closure for the side characters, but overall, it was a decent conclusion to the series.

Loved getting back into this series, hopefully we’ll get to read Arabella’s story soon!

4.5 stars — almost 5, but sadly the ending felt very rushed and nothing exceptional. Some of the battle scenes in the middle also felt a bit repetitive
I would have loved more "family moments" and "Alessandro and Catalina" moments.

Hidden Legacy is a fun series. This book concludes the storyline, and it ends on a satisfactory note. While I enjoyed this book, it seemed a little less cohesive that some of the earlier books. Lots of action, and overall a fun and fast read.

I struggled to get into this one. Still struggling with the main couple for some reason they don’t feel like a couple just a fling.
