I loved this book when I was in middle school. I couldn't remember what it was called until I came across the 1st edition cover image. Good story about memories and growing up.

This was a very quick read... it wasn't a bad book, although I felt like the author liked to use metaphors a few times too many, but it didn't really captivate me and I finished it feeling like there should have been MORE that could have happened. Instead it ended rather abruptly and I felt very unsatisfied.

I started reading Sarah Dessen books high school and am still a huge fan of hers. This book is definitely one of my least favorite by her. The plot didn't really interest me and everything was just kind of a mess, which I guess is not surprising considering this was one of Sarah Dessen's first books. I would recommend most of her books to my friends but definitely not this one.

I had been recommended this book by some friends so when I found it really cheap at a discount book store I picked it up and a couple of others by Sarah Dessen. I had to literally force myself to finish this book. It's a pretty short book but the story was boring, the characters were boring and I never understood what the point of the book was. Not even when it ended! I gave it two stars because I think that if I had read this in elementary school or middle school I MIGHT have liked it. But at my age I just found it incredibly dull. I would recommend if you are much, much younger and maybe not even then.

I'm sorry, I really don't remember anything about this book.

Seriously, the worst book I've read in 2016. Carat hers were boring, the plot was boring and I didn't care for anything that was happening. Just save yourself some time and don't read this book.

Revisiting girlhood by rereading Dessen’s books in order. One down!

Really easy to read, just overall a nice quick read. The main character was also extremely relatable, seeing as she's 5'10 and 15, which is very likely me in the future.

Cute, fast read. Not what I was expecting but it definitely worked out in the end. Her sister was kind of annoying which just irritated me.
