I loved the tie ins and nods to the classic story. I also loved that the FMC wasn't the typical "strong" heroine Im used to reading about in romantasy the books, the "I'm not like other girls, everyone underestimates me" deal. She came across very down to earth and relatable

I was so excited to read this book! I started following the author before it was released due to the hype around it and the story blurb. I'm sorry to say that it didn't live up to my expectations.
