Another fun installment of this series. Definitely should read the previous ones as this really leans into your knowledge of not just the Saints of Steal but also the clockwork boys.

Siggghhh every book in this world (Saint of Steel, Clocktaur War) is so darn wonderful, and with each book the world becomes even more fleshed out and immersive. I wish every book could be this good and this REAL, from attractive fat characters to scads of older women warriors, scientists, priests, etc, to romantic tension coming from relatable human characteristics. Kingfisher’s imagination is unparalleled but she sprinkles in the amazing lightly through the everyday in this series, and it’s grand.
