Overall Rating: 3⭐️

Spice Rating: 2🔥

Format: kindle

Favourite Quote: “They say cynics are just disillusioned idealists. Writers of pickup books are just heartbroken romantics.”

Tropes: second chance romance, enemies to lovers, billionaire romance, performing arts, miscommunication, dual pov

I liked it, slow burn cute story, they had chemistry however I was interested how it unravelled into the back story the way it did and the book I was so annoyed with that book!! And then the twist with it at the end that surprised me I didn’t 100% grasp this book but I did enjoy it.

I didn’t quite get the transition from book 2 to book 3 I was a bit lost at first I think it’s because I read book 2 and then straight away started book 3 I found the 2 scenes didn’t match up with each other (I saw on my kindle book 3 was a second edition maybe that’s why?)

From what I gathered the story was 2 weeks which was incredible but I almost wish it was longer the slow burn didn’t feel as slow it felt more like a fast slow burn is that a thing ?

Not only did we get to see old friends but we meet some new and unforgettable people in Breaking the Billionaire's Rules.

Breaking the Billionaire's Rules...how many ways do I love thee:

Let's start with a revenge plot that makes me giggle with glee.
A profession that makes me cringe in sympathy.
A rivalry that makes blood book
Stories to rile up even the most calm of people
Backstory. The most horrifically planned backstory ever that will leave you both traumatized and laughing like a hyena.
Hyenas.
Milano cookies. (Damn, now I want cookies...again.)

Annika Martin shot for the moon and sound up orbiting it a few extra times! This off the wall and ridiculously entertaining romcom is everything you want and more. So grab some cheesy puffs or some Milanos and curl up with Breaking the Billionaire's Rules.

(Any choking due to fits of riotous laughter are not the fault of the reviewer or the author. Please chew responsibly.)

This is a fun, entertaining read. Max and Mia are interesting, intriguing, entertaining, fun, relatable, complex characters. I enjoyed them as individuals and a couple. There are many aspects of their romance (with all it’s twists and turns) that are sweet and romantic. I enjoyed reading their exchanges and banter. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story and my enjoyment. I love the friendships in this story and roles they play. The story is easy to read and get into.

I enjoyed the audio version of the book and the narrators.
