I thought I really wasn’t going to like this because Mercy wasn’t my favorite and the 35 year age gap was a lot. Turns out I liked it more than I wanted to. It was kind of sweet mixed with kink…though I am confused by the scene with Eden. Didn’t they say it was non-sexual and suddenly she’s having oral sex with Eden?! Like…what?
Otherwise, I really liked it.

This was the one book of the series I wasn't really interested in, I think this may be my favorite book of the series so far!

In some ways, this book was my favorite in the series, but in others, there were definitely places where it was a very weak story.
I loved Ronan and think he was a great main character. His development and characteristics were very realistic and easy to imagine in a man like him.
Daisy was an okay heroine. I felt like there wasn't anything really special about her. She felt like a cardboard cutout.
The two of them together, though, was a fun time. They had great chemistry and a great dynamic. Definitely one of my favorite couples in the series.
I think my one gripe with the book is it felt like there weren't any true stakes. I also felt like it could have benefitted from some reinforcement. It had good bones, but no umpf.

As a big bdsm lover, it was amazing showing really healthy D/S and M/S relationships in the first two sections, but got to the third and started to get bored
