This was so sweet! Definitely an easy read, low on spice and drama. A really big caretaking storyline where Honoria cares for Marcus when he’s very ill which was lovely. Friends to lovers. I’d describe it as a gentle book.

And I loved a better look into the lives of the Smythe-Smith clan who we see briefly in the Bridgerton books.

Wow, I loved it. Honoria is a lovely heroine and Marcus is a wonderful hero. He’s a genuinely kind person, not a total dickhead like several “rake” heroes tend to be.

I’m a huge sucker for a good hurt/comfort story. I didn’t expect that at all from this book, so it was such a pleasant surprise. I’m excited to continue with this series and this family.

I loved this book so much! The humor, the relationships, the characters, the steam. It was such a good edition to the Bridgerton extended universe
