I can’t believe I am done with Aru Shah. It was a part of my life for quite some time, even if at times it had more of a ghostly presence - the TBR is always too huge to get to all of the books right away…

 4/5 Stars

This was a great finale to our beloved Pandava series. I think the highlight of this book is the maturity and character development of our main characters from the very first book up to the last one of the series. They were beautifully written, with an amazing growth, and also a rawness in their emotions, traits, and personal dilemmas which makes them very relatable/

The writing in this one is just as good as the other books, creating a fitting ending for the series. It also has vivid imageries which lingers as you move forward, and is very imaginative, perfect to its readers.

This was a very good conclusion to the Pandava series. I have been very invested in this series since I read the first book and I’m sad that it got over. Aru Shah and the Nectar of Immortality picks up a few months after the previous book.

Due to the events of the previous book, the Pandavas are left weaponless and Kara goes away with the Sleeper. They have to claim their weapons in order to stop the Sleeper and his army from getting their hands on the Nectar of Immortality. It was really great to see the Pandavas grow in age as well as mentally into young adults. The character development was phenomenal and I loved the references and nods to mythology. The U.B.E.R driver one was my favourite in this book. I practically squealed when it struck my mind.

The pacing of this book is fast and there is never a dull moment. The ending was very well done in a realistic and bittersweet manner. I still can’t believe I read a series with an Indian main character. Thanks to the author for writing this series! I will be cherishing this series for a long time.
