And just like that, Roshani Chokshi pulls the various plotlines together and ends the whole thing. The pacing, character development, plot, emotions, action, etc. finally hits just right. I read that Chokshi initially didn't plan on writing a fifth book, but ultimately did. Seems like that was the right choice. This series isn't gold, but it's got a diverse cast and tells some great stories. I liked this last book the best.

Aru Shah and the Nectar of Immortality by Roshani Chokshi is the final book in the Pandava quintet and a fast-paced adventure full of hard choices, overcoming self-doubt, and the power of storytelling. I loved all the places, characters, stories, and growth. It was also great to get more chapters from the other Pandavas' points of view.

This book has its emotional ups and downs, with some truly devastating moments, but also some wonderful and hilarious scenes.

I do think the ending rushes a bit, particularly after what happens, and I would have liked to see more of the emotional aftermath. Still, this book was a fantastic ending to this series, and hopefully we'll get more in the world.

I am so happy omggg. When the uber showed up i knew immediately and when he said he plays the flute and the chariot ahhhh my life is complete and i love this series

4.5 stars.

This was a very uplifting kind of read. A mostly happy end to the story. And while I still think there were some things that were a little too cliche, overall I enjoyed the story.

What is Life???

I will re write the review later when i get over the fact that i am done here

hi. its me again. no maidens to spill my thoughts out to so to goodreads:lets ride bitch

(wont be tagging with spoilers because no direct spoiling will be done but im a crazy person so be warned!!!)

once again my mind has been captured endlessly and enamoured by the whimsical writing of my (self proclaimed) goddess roshani chokshi. AND NO I DID NOT READ THIS BOOK A WEEK LATE ON PURPOSE. kindle is sg phobic and refuses to release this ambrosia of a book to the public of my beloved nation on the actual fucking release date!!
god i dont know what to say. reading about the kids you have loved and adored for 4 years(5)? what is time and how their journey comes to a close is so. FUCK?????
just swiping to the last page and knowing thats it. no more months to pine for the next release, no more waiting and thinking what will be the Potatoes' next adventure.
i would say this is the perfect end to the series but in reality, the perfect end would be no end at all.
Aruaiden is real guys and its coming for all us.
Fast paced and hyper, just like all the other beloved books this one did not waste ANY time (maybe a bit here and there but its all in good meaning and warmed my heart to see my kids banter) Even if i scoured my brain in every nook, crevice and cranny i don't think i could find a better way to end this series. Every thread, every scene, every small detail collected through the course of this amazing series all weaved together in a beautiful tapestry of the Potatoes' (sorry i still cannot take it seriously do not hate me but i have accepted it OK) story.
Gods i hope to hell and heaven and every plane of existence (otherworld included) and back to this small planet Earth that there is a sequel series or something or a spinoff. GODS even short story would kill me dead IN A GOOD WAY.
I cannot even begin to fathom my life without the promise of this silly gang every year. Counting the months in order of before Aru Shah book X release date or after Aru Shah book X release date.
Unwillingly, and yet so very fortunately, this book series has taken a toll and held a strong presence in my mind for years at this point.
Maybe its the way i remembered opening the first book when i was barely their age, growing up with them year by year as the topics in their stories changed and my maturity matured with them.
I wouldn't say something as cheesy as they are my friends, but in a way i cannot help but feel we are connected in a way (please kill me im off a finishing a book high)
Which is why it hurts so much more for them to be wrenched away from me. A small crying hope had led me through these books, hoping that every year without fail till the day i leave this earth i could savour another adventure from my beloved Pandavas, that every adventure would light up my mind and my face again and again without fail.
Yet now, i am at a loss after failing to quench the small hope that had flared so brightly every page i turned, and now i am here helpless with the end of a saga, end of a legacy.
Even now, i am writing this review jam packed with feelings emotions, aruaiden endgame (FR BITCH!!!) to distract my ever wandering mind from the sad corner of ARU SHAHHHH COME BACKKK MY BABYYYYYY
Sadly, and maybe a bit fortunately, i know surely that my days after this series can only be explained as a series of funerals, for everyday i will mourn without the promise of my beloveds returning to me.
In my heart lies a love and adoration that is inexplicable, incomprehensible and so utterly truly without a doubt mine. For words on paper and for people that will plague my mind for eternity and after, goodbye Aru Shah, until i see you next.
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

I'm going to try to remember to come back and leave a real review later, but for now, this is legit the best series I've read in years. Everything about it is perfect. These books are just so, so special.
