Two things I love Disney and social media! Combine those things and you have this book. It takes the stories you loved as kids and turns them into adult themed stories. Each character has their own story about modern issues, and throughout the book it gets added to. By the end you know where they are at in their "life".
Very cute, creative book! I enjoyed it!!

Scathing, hilarious, and just plain truthful social commentary here.
Enjoyed this a lot.
I'm probably Alice in real life, if I'm honest, which works for me. ;)

3.5/5 stars "In the modern world, fairy tale characters don't always fit in. Surprisingly, that is part of what makes them so much like every day people. The characters have to face things like dating, getting jobs, dealing with social media, and feeling generally unaccepted and unappreciated in society. In the end, will they still get their happily ever after?" Full review at Fresh Fiction: http://freshfiction.com/review.php?id=42264
I read this book in one sitting and was hooked as soon as Manley mentioned Dunkaroos, a staple of my childhood packed lunches. He has so many references to my childhood and teenagehood that I couldn’t help but laugh in glee. All of your favorite Disney stars and even just some children’s book stars like Ugly Duckling are popped into modern times and expected to cope. Peter Pan desperately wants his blog to be a hit and so he creates a viral meme (where was Wendy when he needed some guidance because we all know Tiger Lily would not put up with any of that SHIZZ). Sleeping Beauty has self-esteem and self-expression problems, we all saw that one coming. I mean for heaven’s sakes, the girl was raised with three babbling crazy aunts. Usually, we only have one of those in every family, but she had a mighty and strong three. I’m truly surprised the Ugly Duckling wasn’t mildly obsessed with the Aflack duck, but she did go to a high school reunion and take plenty of selfies.

"The prince and the pauper unfriended each other because neither could stand the other's political status updates."
I absolutely loved this book, and i think it came around at a perfect time in my life. Its a quick and easy read and kept me entertained the entire way through. This sharp, satirical, look at how modern twenty somethings are moving along through life, and especially with the use of social media, is hilariously accurate in a lot of ways.
5/5 would recommend to a friend!

These stories are perfect for the twenty-something going through a quarter-life crisis. I love the tumblr this book is based on, and was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a cohesiveness to the whole book giving each character a story rather than a simple compilation of individual, stand-alone pages.
This book is absolutely hysterical. I cannot express the joy I felt reading the sheer ridiculousness inside. I was immediately taken with the name, and the first page I read had me laughing out loud. After that I just KNEW I needed to have it (which is why I ended up paying $20 for such a small book).
Telling the tales of our childhood favorites, but in modern times, adds a certain level of believability to the stories. It’s completely conceivable to think of Aladdin texting Jasmine “what’s up”, Peter Pan starting a blog, and Cinderella becoming a photographer in our every day lives.
It’s hilarious. It’s raunchy. It’s full of swear words. It’s fantastic.

Though it is original I found the sense of humor very basic. The edition of the book and the illustrations made me give it an extra star.
