This book started with a simple deal between the MCs where the MMC was gonna pass his brother's affair baby as his own after his brother died but how we got here is more sinister.

So get this(SPOILER ALERT), The MMC's brother took his gf(FMC) home to meet his parents. So then after MMC meets FMC, a meeting where he was so antagonistic for no reason, he tells his brother to dump her. Cause him and her are more compatible, and you know what the crazy thing is? THE BROTHER AGREED!!!! AND HIS PARENTS TOO!!! So he dumps her, of course, and they make a plan to get MMC and FMC together. But the plan goes to shit when the brother and FMC get drunk  one night and she ends un pregnant with his child. Then the brother dies.

Look, the book started great. It was giving 'I like her but she's with my brother so I'm gonna be an asshole about it' and I was okay with that. And then they got together and I was loving every second of it till the third act break-up. That was a mess. He pulled a Twisted Hate(Ana Huang) move on the FMC, where he slut-shamed her and called her everything but a child of God. I couldn't look at MMC the same after that. THEN, cause he felt like insulting his wife wasn't enough, we come to find out that him and his family plotted to get them together. I finished the book and the reason for the 4⭐ is because Ms. Taylor had me LOCKED IN! And it was good😬😬 Crazy but good.  I do think she forgave him way too fast but what can I do?

Something about Theodora Taylor. I will always pick up one of her books. I’ve read this one before and, despite some lowkey unhinged plot points, I still eat it up.

This was a wild ride! I loved Go and Nyla, they were really perfect for each other. And the twists were insane. Did not see any of them coming at all. And that ending? Nearly had me throwing my Kindle across the room. Such a good story!

This book was hard to get into. I had a decent storyline. The writing was OK. The characters are fairly well developed there some surprises a little suspense some spice but definitely not one. I’d want to read the next book but all right OK book to read.

I had to stop reading this after the first sex scene. The MMC having sex with the FMC while she's heavily pregnant with his nephew/niece is disgusting.
