I love Geraldine as a character. She is spunky, strong willed, and fiercly loyal to her friends. She also has an amazing heart and that shows. This book was a fun read as it gave more insight into her character and the romance building between her and Max. The ending left me surprised and I hope to see how that plays out in the next books.

I read this for some light relief after finishing Cursed Fates, I never imagined I would be actively seeking out Geraldine-isms to cheer myself up but here we are.
Let’s just say I could have lived a very happy life without ever reading Geraldine-narrated smut scenes.
You won’t miss anything if you skip this, there was some cute Tory/Darius, but nothing essential to the main storyline.

all these damn sea creatures that geraldine was spewing out left and right are making me go seasick. but dont get me wrong tho, grus is funny as hell and i love her so much, but this was way too much for me.
