A fun short story in the Zodiac Academy series. I wish the author hadn’t made Geraldine so over the top ridiculous sounding. It would have been great to see another side of her without all the silly dialogue from her. I want to like her so much more, but she just sounds so unbelievable and ridiculous ALK the time. She needs (and deserves) more dimension than that as a character!

Funny little novella to break up the more intense main storyline in the normal series with two POVs split between Geraldine and Max. Don't get me wrong I love Geraldine and appreciate her as a character but this was a bit too much. I hope I never have to read a Geraldine chapter again and especially not smut. I enjoy her as a character from others POV but to be to be in her POV and to be in her head was just waaay too much.
Bit confused about when this took part as well, it must just have been before the end of book 5 but found myself a bit confused with timings. This was actually 2.75 for me and the extra 0.5 was purely for more found family vibes, I am so here for it. You are telling me they baked them a birthday cake?!
Listening to the squeaky voice of Geraldine was so hard to tolerate. I like her as a character but the voice they use is so cringy.
