Remind me to never listen to an audiobook where Grus is the main character again lol
Her voice is obnoxious, but all that aside, I loved this glimpse into Max and Grus.

Positives: It was nice to get some comedic relief from Geraldine after the shit show ending of the last book.
Negatives: This book felt entirely unnecessary. If the goal was to see
Max and Geraldine’s relationship progress (which didn't even really happen in this book)
we could easily get that in other books by giving them a few pov chapters. I also felt the entire party set up was
sooo cringy, along with the fact that the twins basically had to pretend to enjoy it when it was obviously the last thing they wanted.
I just found myself really skimming through this once I was about halfway through.

Fun little novella. I'm a little salty about the end of book 5, though. I also don't think I learned anything more about Geraldine and Max, so I don't think this was a necessary read.

Decent story. Very boring.
