This was a fun, interesting read. It’s been sitting on my side table for awhile - I bought it after following the author on TikTok since 2020. Knowing her content I was expecting something more obviously funny. This was serious but with enough sneaky humor that it was not serious boring but serious fun. It’s a really interesting take on what happens after we die.

In all honestly, this book was very odd. I appreciate the concept of the After Death, of getting down to the nitty-gritty to asses your life as nothing but a soul. But I feel this book was only scratching the surface of what it could’ve been.
I have got to stop reading books by social media stars. I like Gwenna's content, but man this did not translate to long-form. And it is still pretty short, but I'm sorry, the writing is not great.
Specific issues: there are no chapter or page breaks, this just GOES, so you're almost forced to read it in a single sitting.
The main character is annoying.
The whole concept reads like a tumblr post where everyone goes "omg I would read the SHIT out of that" but NO it's not actually a good book idea.
And just poor writing.
