really interesting! makes you think about these female characters from a different perspective and put them into context. it was good to see haynes look at various interpretations of these figures and try understand why they chose to depict them that way.

also quite a funny book - found myself chucking at a few things haynes said!

Absolutely loved this one!! She does a good job of retelling these stories and explaining the different depictions of these women throughout history, but her analysis is so approachable and smart?? It’s sooo good. If u liked Circe, this is a must read !! Also, justice for all of these women — even Medea !!
