a fascinating and very well written investigation into the stories of (in)famous women of myth !i love natalie haynes' written voice, and i found this quite easy to read, light and engaging without ever feeling simplified or condescending. unlike many of the women-from-greek-myth novels that i see everywhere, i love how this weighs up different sources, showing how interpretations change. i got a lot from this as someone who knows quite a lot about classics already, but i think it's perfectly accessible to someone who is just getting into the subject. all round a really fascinating read.
