I started reading this book yesterday and skipped my classes today to complete it. It was absolutely worth it.
The book was a bit of an info dump, Jennifer dropped a lot of new information to expand the world and if you didn’t reread you could have easily found yourself being a bit confused by all the information.
But all this new information and world building made for absolutely insane plot twists that left me reeling at every turn. I was shocked, happy, sad, angry, etc. The entire range of emotions. I don’t think I have ever felt so many things at once reading a book. It blew my mind.
And that ending? Insane. Poppy is a freaking badass.
The Crown of Gilded Bones may truly be the best novel yet in this series and I am so excited for where the fourth will pick up because if this was any indication, things will be even more insane.

Do prvních dvou dílů série jsem se zamilovala. Líbila se mi romantická linka od nenávisti k lásce, hlavní trojice postav, plno vzrušujících momentů, skvělé zvraty, a tak jsem doufala v další peckovní pokračování.
Korunu z kostí a zlata jsem četla nejdéle ze všech a nemůže za to počet stran, protože druhou polovinu jsem přečetla za jedinou noc. Na začátku jsem byla nadšená. Konečně tu znovu byli Poppy, Casteel a Kieran, ale uběhlo 70 stran, nadšení odpadlo a čtení mě začalo příšerně nudit. Než jsem se dostala do poloviny, přečetla jsem tři jiné knihy.
Z Poppy a Case se stal slaďoučký páreček a já si víc užívala, když Casteelovi hrozilo bodnutí nožem než ty zamilované řečičky (a že s nimi nešetřili). Jednoznačně tady na první čáře vedl vlkodlak Kieran! Jsem ale moc ráda, že v polovině knihy nastal zlom a pak už jsem se nemohla od čtení odtrhnout.
Závěr byl skvěle nadupaný akcí a dalšího dílu se nemůžu dočkat. Pokud Korunu z kostí a zlata právě čtete, vydržte, bude to čím dál lepší!

not a fan of the continuous use of the words “male” and “female” when they could be replaced with other words. terminology and a little predictability urged me to knock off half a star.

I think we need to have conversation about who allowed for this book to be this long. Previous two were long too, but they had some fun aspects. Pacing is slow and plot (like that is a thing) is uninteresting to me because it's all Poppy is special and her having sex with Cas and scene.
To be fair I'm only reading it for Kieran, he definitely deserves better like for start his love interest.
This is like bad soap opera that is way too long.
