Maybe I’ve just need a break from this series. For some reason, the constant “mansplaining” by Decker was really annoying to me, and the plot just kept going from strange to more strange. Not my favorite.

I'm feeling a bit mean only giving this 3 stars as I think I take the quality of David Baldacci's writing for granted now. However, this one felt a bit samey and in places slow. I'd say it was a satisfactory read. Pretty much what I expected having read the previous 5 books in the series.

Amos Decker and his adventures... love these stories. Fracking, murder, special ops, greed, love, and a costar from another of Baldacci’s book series. Loved this!

Another Amos Decker book is awesome, and I enjoyed hearing again from the familiar characters and some new settings/friends. Baldacci’s action sequences don’t disappoint.

I really enjoyed this story and Will Robie and his partner turning up was pretty cool. I haven't read any of the Will Robie series so am looking forward to reading those!

Interesting read but a little disappointing in that it involved a complex plot where all was revealed (with new information) in the last couple of chapters.
