I loved this book, it's such a different take on vampires. I was so drawn into their world that I couldn't put it down once I started. Ade and Heather are fantastic characters and I need more of them. I can't wait for the next book to see where the story is going to go
Good read
I was desperately looking for a good read, and I found it. The story is really interesting, the characters are lovely, and you keep wanting to know more. The only thing that was missing was some more editing.

Normally I’m quite flexible..but although the story revolves between the two characters, I’m missing the world building. To many things are left unclear. And once this is acknowledged and promised to be addressed..it’s not.
I would say I like the book, but due to the lack of world building it made it hard for me to determine the backdrop. The most issue I had is the gap in history..all humans are extinct..why?how? And where did heather came from? And why now? I’m trying book 2, but since book one is quite short, I see it as a continuation of the first book, like a new chapter.

I would prefer have seen more development in the actual story of the human been in a vampire world. Hooe to see this in the sequel.
Didn't like the behaviour of the vampire. Even if she is more than 200 yearsd old, she acted like a 15 years old.
