I LOVED this. I have been trying to get it from the library for a while but the hold kept coming in at an inconvenient time and then I'd have to wait weeks again. Ended up getting a physical copy from the library at the right time and wow. I sped through it. It's a mostly light read, but there are some aspects of trauma that I feel were well addressed. I think Tiffy is absolutely hilarious and wonderful, and Leon is quiet but sweet - they're a perfect match in the most adorable way. It was a slow, sweet build to their romance that made me appreciate it all the more.

🦊 Resumindo:
Livro prefeito para uma leitura leve.
É rápido de ler, divertido e fofo.
(🚩TW: gaslighting/manipulação e violência psicológica)

Ok this was cute and fun, and it was possible to suspend disbelief at the ludicrous set-up. Would have got a solid 3 stars if it weren't for the hideous way of writing speech - completely disrupted my reading experience because there was constantly a bit of my brain checking whether what I was reading was speech or not. Also Holly is a totally unrealistic character.

Wow, I loved this, definitely worth the hype. It was funny and cute, and it made me feel super single (aka it was a good romance book). The main characters were fun to read about, I especially loved Richie and Leon. Also, the chapters were short (LOVE) and, although my friend said he hated Leon's chapter's writing style, I actually enjoyed it. It made sense to be like that, as he barely talks that much with anyone, even in the notes. The only critique is the typical, and hated (by me), miscommunication trope.

To start with, Leon and Tiffy are cute. Their personalities, their interactions, et cetera, are CUTE. The other characters are bearable and some of them are actually likeable, even.

But, I feel like a lot of elements in the book were forced, from the moment why they shared flats, the subplots, and how the subplots connected to each others. Like some of them were there to add words on the book. Leon's parts were rather hard to get through (I get used to it after a while tho) and there's no point of it being written that way, like it didn't do anything to Leon's personality whatsoever, which is such a shame because I really liked the author's writing in general. On top of that, the climax(es?) were so underwhelming and a bit awkward, and it was the biggest letdown for me.

However I also can see why people love this book. It was still a light, cute read with explorations on serious topics (tho some didn't fit into the story well in my opinion), and it wrapped kind of nicely in the end.
