The twist lowkey did get me cause everything else in the series has been kinda easy to see coming. But I really did like the last act. I wish there was less sexual scenes they just put the book lower for me, I wanted more mystery and fantasy. Though, I adore wrath as a love interest. King of consent and literally the biggest simp to exist <3.

I highly, highly recommend the audiobooks for this whole series! I fell into a little bit of a slump about 3/4 of the way through this one (Not because of the book, but because I'd been reading too many fantasy books) and I just couldn't pick it back up. The audiobook helped me to push through the rest of the way and the book was really really good!

Holy moly this series… brb I’m wrecked. This book…no the series so far… has so many twist and turns making you want more. Honestly the last four and a half days I’ve been consumed by this series. I don’t know if I’ll be able to survive until the end of September for the final instalment

The plot feels scattered, and the pacing is inconsistent. Some twists are good, but many are predictable. The romance spices things up, but the characters lack depth. Emilia's inconsistency tests patience, and the ending leaves mixed feelings. Overall, the book falls short, and I'll approach the next one with low expectations.
