Ein Klassiker. Ich habe irgendwann aufgehört zu zählen, wie oft ich diesen Roman in den letzten 20 Jahren immer und immer wieder gelesen habe. Dieses Buch hat mein Interesse an Sci-Fi wieder geweckt, nachdem ich eine Zeit lang in einem "Leseloch" verbracht habe.

I don't get the hype for this novel. If someone handed me this as my introduction to sci-fi I'd give the genre up. There was some good writing in it, but also a lot that I disliked. I feel like there was so much that was never explained. There were scenes that didn't make sense and parts that felt as if they were thrown in as the author's indulgence. Mostly it was confusing. I had a hard time following what was going on and I'm pretty sure I didn't get all of it.
Just not an enjoyable read.
