It's extraordinary how many adaptation of this one story there is! From a musical to films to even a comic book series.

It really is a classic, light sweet imaginative story that brings on a smile and a warmth to the heart.

Cute but a little boring, and I found the pacing a bit weird. The narration by Anne Hathaway was great though.

never read this book as a child and thought I'd check it out for my daughter. I found this book extremely dull , very 1 dimensional characters, purely plot driven and not even particularly funny. it also reinforces traditional stereotypes for little girls, so will certainly not recommend this to my own children. sorry, but this is one classic that should be left on the shelf!
