This was an absolutely amazing book. I was surprised. I was expecting another PNR about werewolves. This was refreshing, original and very well written. I fell in love with Clay, even when he never said a word. In the end I loved him even more. This end of this book led me straight to BN and amazon to see if the next book had been released yet. I highly recommend this book to anyone.
I dug this because the male lead wasn't a giant bag of dicks and our heroine's hangups made sense given her background.
I’m not sure how I feel. The story was interesting but I felt like I was waiting for something/anything to happen that never did.
When I first began reading this, I assumed it would just be like any other werewolf book I have read, but I was pleasantly surprised that it's different and it's so good too! The characters, the pace, the details, the situations the characters find themselves in, it all meshes together in one of the most beautiful ways when involving such strange abilities the characters have.
I honestly fell in love with all of her characters too, as each and every one of them felt so real, and none of them were the typical characters of what you see in many novels these days. I especially love Clay, as both the wolf and man, as I just adore his character!<3

I just got done reading this book, and I have to say that overall I enjoyed it. The story moved slowly at first, picking up about halfway through the book, but I liked that the love story wasn't instantaneous. Once the story picked up, it started filling in the blanks from the first half at a good pace, with the ending leaving it open for the next book in the series.
Couple of things I didn't like. First was the fact that certain humans were treated as mates above all else, with little regard to what they actually wanted in life. I was glad the heroine, Gabby, rebelled against it, especially since she was brought in to find her mate before the age of 18, which made me uncomfortable. The other thing I didn't like was keeping Clay mute until the tail end of the book. I found it annoying. All in all, it was a well written YA paranormal romance. It was a fun read & a good distraction from my schoolwork.
In full disclosure, I was given a copy of this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed getting Clay's perspective. I even ended up going back and reading Hope(less) at the same time in order to see the same scene from both Clay's and Gabby's points of view. It was funny how sometimes she guessed exactly what he was thinking and other times she was way off. For anyone that's read and enjoyed Hope(less), I definitely recommend reading Clay's Hope!
